DETERMINATION OF OPTIMAL PARAMETERS FOR THE CEMENTATION PROCESS OF CADMIUM AND COPPER FROM ZINC SULPHATE SOLUTION

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

In the presented work, research was carried out to select the optimal parameters for the cementation process of zinc sulphate solution, from impurities in the form of copper and cadmium. This process is one of the stages of the hydrometallurgical method of zinc production, which largely determines the purity of the produced zinc. The tests were carried out in the temperature range of 20-60oC and for the pH of the solution in the range of 3,5-5,0.
