Abstract
From the point of view of the incorporation of the wind farm energy to the power system, there is a necessity of power system automation adaptation to the new working conditions. The speed of development and increasing number of wind farms often exceed the speed of adaptation of the power automation structures to the new conditions. It can lead to the thread of the power system safety. The paper discuss how important is the coordination of power system development and the proper functioning of power system automation.
