Abstract

Described is a model of a laboratory electromagnetic flow-meter with transverse field assigned to the measurement of the amount of liquid non-ferrous metals flow during their casting or transportation. Presented are the measurements of the amount of liquid tin flow carried out by means of this flow-meter. Listed are advantages of the flow-meter and given are some guidelines concerning its application to measurements of the amount of flow of liquid metals having higher melting point than tin. (A)
