Abstract

The current stage of development of modern electronic and informatics solutions allow creating sophisticated solutions in different areas of human life. It is particularly related with designing complex technical means. The approach allowing creating intelligent systems is based on the Industry 4.0 concept. It enforces creating new solutions allowing integrating different cooperating components. In the paper is presented the virtual analysis of introducing concepts of mechatronics design and Industry 4.0 to creating intelligent buildings. This area could be determined as buildtronics. In this area the concept of Industry 4.0 allows developing new design methods of unconventional structural solutions of systems with characteristics of a complex character. It is realized by facilitating the integration of different subsystems of different components creating the complex technical means. However the concept of mechatronics allows creating components based on the mechatronics subsystems (mechanical, electric and control). The cooperation of these subsystems is determined as the mechatronics function of a system. Results show that the computer aided designing and modeling of sophisticated technical systems could be strongly facilitated and accelerated utilizing the virtual analysis of the mechatronic function.
