Abstract
The variation of water vapour adsorption capacity and nanostructure in the new SiO2-CaCl2 composite adsorbents was investigated during 100 adsorption-desorption cycles. It was found that these properties deteriorate gradually but not faster than in conventional silica gel adsorbents. During 100 cycles the effective water sorption capacity consistently maintained the level of 1 kg of water/kg of adsorbent.
