Abstract

Dimensioning of driven stone columns on the basis of the existing methods may raise certain doubts. It is due to underestimation of their load capacity and overestimation of their settlement. The alternative solution could be a computational numerical model of subsoil strengthened with the use of dynamic replacement method, which is presented in this paper.
