Abstract
The article presents an induction boiler as an alternative heat source replacing a high-temperature district heating network. The construction of a heating node with an induction boiler, efficiency tests of an industrial prototype of such a boiler, and an analysis of heating costs of multi-family buildings with the use of renewable energy sources and an induction boiler were presented.
