Abstract

The results of studies of the average heat transfer coefficients of turbine valves, based on an analogy between heat and mass transfer proposed by Chilton and Colburn, are presented. The mass transfer coefficients were measured using the method of naphthalene sublimation in air. The results are presented in the form of the dependence Nu equals f(Re).
