Abstract

This article presents a project of a simple mobile robot, the main task of which is to detect a human and follow him at a speed close to the speed of human walking. To implement such a task, a mobile platform with four wheels and a steerable front axle was made using 3D printing technology. Then, the mobile platform was equipped with the necessary sensors and a deep neural network was used to detect a human. The control of the mobile platform was presented in the form of a state diagram.
