Abstract
The paper presents an algorithm for automatic identification of the relative displacement, dedicated to the calibration of a position sensor cooperating with a motor excited by permanent magnets. This problem occurs when installing the rotor position sensor in a new motor or during repairs work. The developed algorithm allows for automatic identification before starting the drive, and no additional steps or measuring instruments are needed to carry it out.
