Application of the symmetric and antisymmetric excitation technique at the symmetrical two-port networks design

Abstract

The application of the symmetric-antisymmetric excitation method, which decomposes a two-port network with a symmetric structure into two separate two-pole half-circuits, was considered. For the input impedances of these half-circuits, analytical expressions were written, which relate them with the two-port device parameters being designed based on a two-pole network. The values of the input impedances calculated by these expressions allowed to determine the parameters of the elements of the circuit, which had been chosen for the implementation of this device.
