Abstract

In this article, a computer simulation of a selected production process was carried out. The simulation aimed to determine the number of internal transport means that allow the implementation of the manufacturing process, considering parameters such as the efficiency of the production process, the number of inter-operational stocks, and the level of use of means of transport. FlexSim simulation software was used to conduct the simulation. The simulation made it possible to obtain results, which were then analyzed and used to select the most advantageous solution. The conducted process, which was intended to determine the resources necessary to implement a specific production plan, confirmed the validity of using computer simulation at the stage of planning production and logistics processes, as well as their evaluation.
