Abstract
In this paper results of thermodynamic analysis for variants of CO2 compression installation integrated with an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) are shown. In the analyzed cases it was assumed that installation is equipped with a compressors with variable number of sections. Gas coolers are used between respective sections, which allows to reduce the work of compression. Conducted analyzes allowed to determine the extent to which the cooling heat can be efficiently transformed into electricity. Analyzes of the respective variants were carried out for three different working media, i.E., two low-boiling media - ethanol, R245ca and water. For the respective media the net efficiencies of electricity production of the ORC module, which can be obtained depending on the applied pressure of steam generated in the heat recovery steam generator were calculated. Also, for all cases, the distribution of power rate of a module were obtained as a function of pressure.
