Abstract
The paper describes properties of magnetically coupled coils designed for wireless electrical energy transfer application. These properties were analyzed for maximizing efficiency of the resonant cascade of coils for wireless electrical energy transfer. The efficiency of the system for wireless electrical energy transfer is a function of the magnetic coupling coefficient k and the quality factor Q of the coil. The analysis determines the winding fill factor S of the coil and the relative outer diameter d out for maximizing wireless electrical energy transfer efficiency. Obtained results were positively verified experimentally.
