Abstract
This article presents a key comparative analysis results of methods applied for determining the rate of change of frequency, which becomes the key factor for assessing the stability of the power system. This factor will be a key parameter for assessing the stability of future power systems. Currently, requirements for device manufacturers and system operators are defined taking this factor into account. However, the obtained results of simulation tests show significant differences in the value of this factor depending on the estimation algorithm used.
