Abstract
The article draws attention to the accuracy of electronic energy meters, which are increasingly used in electrical installations of smart homes. As part of the research work, the readings of selected electricity meters used in building automation systems were calibrated in accordance with the normative requirements and additionally for distorted load currents typical of receivers used in smart homes. The influence of the level of current distortion (THD) and its value (different loads) on the reading errors of selected electronic electricity meters was determined.
