Abstract
The article describes methods for creating parameterized geometry and presents the CAD models used in the study. Aerodynamic optimization methods in the context of shape optimization are described. The problem of optimization of the shape of the nacelle support suspended under the wing of the UAV is presented. The methodology of the study assuming two optimization processes is comprehensively described. The first assumes optimization of the shape of the profile, while the second assumes optimization of the height of the cantilever. Two optimization methods were used, namely design of experiments and gradient optimization method. The optimization results of the two methods were compared and conclusions were drawn.
