Abstract
2-Amino-3-hydroxybenzoic acid was oxidized with air O 2 by using a fungal (Cerrena unicolor) laccase biocatalyst immobilized on SiO 2 beads with bimodal hierarchical pore structure in a rotating bed reactor. The applied system showed a very high efficacy in 3-phase synthesis of 2-ami-no-4,6-dimethyl-3-oxo-3H-phenoxazine-1,9-dicarboxylic acid.
