Abstract
The main aim of the paper is presentation of measurements and analysis of the RTLS accuracy obtained during laboratory tests. One of the objectives was to assess suitability for applications in the mechanical industry enterprises. Tests were carried out using the Ubisense RTLS Series 7000. The three stages of testing are presented. The first concerns to the coordinates measurement of the tag located in random points. The second test is based on checking the impact of various obstacles on positioning accuracy, that can exist in industrial environment, by registering interference causing by obstacles made of popular materials. The third test is related to the analysis of the path drawn on the basis of the marker movement along the path determined in the test room. Based on the received results it is possible to notice discrepancies between physical coordinates and those determined by the system.
