Exactacoat (SONO-TEK) – Ultrasonic coating system
Two-nozzle system allowing coatings to be applied at frequencies of:
-25 kHz
-60 kHz
-120 kHz
-180 kHz
Advantages of ultrasonically applied coatings:
-Reduction of material consumption and spray loss by up to 80%
-High spray pattern control for reliable, consistent results
-Ability to deliver very low flow rates
-Controllable droplet size
-Z-axis movement allows optimisation of spray pattern width
Alternative energy and nanomaterials:
-Electrolysers
-Fuel cells
-Solar cells
-Carbon nanotubes, nanowires, nanomaterials
-Sensors
-Industry applications:
-Float glass
-Functional coatings
-Protective coatings
-Electrochromic glasses
-Lenses, lens elements
-Textiles
-Automotive industry
Printed circuit boards, semiconductors:
-Polyamide and photosensitive coatings
-Protective coatings
-MEMS systems
